William H Robinson

Professor William H Robinson is a leading urban entomologist. He was a Professor and Director of the Urban Entomology Research Center at Virginia Tech University and Visiting Professor and Director of the Urban Entomology Research Center at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He spent 30 years in academia conducting research and publishing on household and structural pests, and the application of insecticides. He spent 20 years as Technical Director of B&G Equipment Company working on pest control equipment and application technology. He has written two text books: Urban Entomology, and Urban Insects and Arachnids; five service technician Training Manuals (two in Chinese). He coordinated the founding of the National Conference on Urban Entomology (USA) and the International Conference on Urban Pests. He is Chair of the Executive Committee of the International Conference on Urban Pests.
